You can say that Studio Petak started twenty five years ago in Bulgaria when Antoana made her first apartment (out of shoebox, stones, leaves and magazine cut-outs) for her cousin. This creative passion followed her through the numerous side hustles she took (from basketball to international math competitions) ultimately led her to study interior design at London, one of the most dynamic and creative 

​

Starting from working crazy hours and making coffee in unpaid internship, she slowly climbed her way to one of the leading practices in the world. The dream job was amazing in terms of experience, connections and learning, but also led to the burn-out. 

 

There had to be another way to celebrate the power of design and how it can totally transform people's lives, allow them to THRIVE in their environment, and have a space that supports and enriches them. That's when Studio Petak was born - an idea at first that quickly became a reality.

Today Antoana and her collaborators work on modern projects for some amazing  clients who valued creativity. The focus is always on creating spaces that are exciting, carefully thought out and truly reflect the client's personality and vision. We love our craft and every minute of our what we do, and bring this work ethic to any project.
